Looking younger has never been easier… without surgery!

Have you ever looked in the mirror and pulled up your cheeks and skin above your eyebrows and wished it would stay there?

Now there is a simple new technique that makes it possible.  Internationally renowned as one of a handful of experts in this procedure, Dallas and Houston physician Dr. Pauline Raymond-Martimbeau introduces a new era in minimally invasive rejuvenation techniques – Contour Threads™, the only non-absorbable barbed suture product cleared by the FDA for elevation and fixation of midface and brow.

As the aging process begins, the connective tissue thins and collagen and elastic fibers break down. These changes in the support structures appear as sagging, deep creases, folds and wrinkles that can begin in your thirties.  Dr. Raymond-Martimbeau is fully trained to perform this patented procedure and offers it to her patients as a safe, conservative and effective solution that produces subtle, natural looking results.

Contour Threads, designed in USA, are clear, non absorbable strands of polypropylene. They have small cogs that glide easily beneath the skin when the threads are inserted.  Using Contour Threads, drooping facial features are gently lifted upward restoring a more natural, relaxed, and fresh appearance.  The threads are anchored to the scalp tissue through very small incisions to avoid thread migration and to allow more lifting and tightening process.

When sagging tissue is lifted, the Contour Threads cogs create a firm hold on the tissues.  The brow, cheek, jowl and neck can be contoured, creating a natural, youthful appearance.  Over time, the body generates new collagen around the Contour Threads, which helps maintain the lift.

Contour Lift is usually performed under local anesthesia. For those who are especially anxious, light sedation can be used.  The length of the procedure depends on the number of threads required.  A typical treatment takes about one hour. Incisions are usually so small that skin stitches are not needed.

The patient can usually return to normal activities (including work) within one to seven days.
